Our Secure payment
When you come to "check out" and complete your purchase, you will be automatically transferred to the secure section of your chosen payment gateway to complete the transaction. You will then be redirected back to the HoRoGears website where you will see confirmation that your order has been successful.
To secure data transmission between the web server and your web browser, our website and payment gateway uses 128bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. This is the current highest level of encryption commercially available and industry standard.
Depending on your browser, you will see a closed lock or unbroken key which confirms that SSL is active. You can also double check this by looking at the URL line of your browser - the first characters of the address will change from HTTP to HTTPS while accessing a secure server.
We do not store your credit/card payment information anywhere on our site for PCI DSS Compliance.
Verified by Visa & Mastercard SecureCode
Visa and Mastercard have introduced 3D-Secure (this is essentially an online version of chip and pin) to increase the security of internet transactions. When you confirm your payment you may be asked by your card issuer for further authentication depending on the card you have chosen to use.
From time to time when customers try to place orders from overseas, their bank routinely blocks the transaction to our site and the transaction may be declined. In this case, we suggest that you contact your credit card issuer to confirm that you wish to authorise the transaction and you can then retry the payment.
